A. Essential Qualification & Experience :
a. Master Degree in Library Science with 5
years’ experience in any University / Research Institution Library
B. Desirable Experience :
Knowledge in digital library systems, qualifying in the
National Level Test conducted for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the
UGC.
C. Job Description & Responsibilities
To supervise and co-ordinate the work of Institute Library system.
To plan book acquisition programme of the library and select books for order,
To contribute to the educational function of the Institute by providing bibliographical
guidance to research scholars of the Institute
To develop programme of library management for improving the efficiency of the library.
General correspondence relating to financial matters.
Any other job assigned by the competent authority
The last date of receipt of hard copy of applications at NITTTR, Kolkata
is 09/06/2023.
